Do What You Love And The Money Will Come

Or do you just end up hating what you once loved?

After I quit freelancing (and working in a lab), I learned to love photography again.

Will Kottke still love blogging if he's doing it for a living? I mean, would you? I mean, look at me. I hate books. I'm totally kidding.

I know i dislike computers more now that i do it for a living. code used to be alot funner when it was a release... I do think about this alot, would music be less fun if it was not a release from life, but the life? Would I learn to hate ice cream & bubble tea if i open up my ice cream and bubble tea shop?

I'm sure you'd come to hate it. You probably won't be able to look at it again. But you should totally go for it because Baltimore needs more bubble tea. Sacrifice yourself for the love of mankind!

I couldn't eat donuts for years after working at Dunkin' Donuts as a teenager.

On the other hand, my grandfather made ice cream for a living (at my grandparent's dairy) and he'd come home every night and eat a big bowl of it.
