We will no longer be accepting PayPal payments. Why? PayPal has a whole mess of restrictions that most bookstores would not be able to follow.

I always wondered why hardly anyone used PayPal and now I know.

This is a list of what is not acceptable to sell if you accept payments through PayPal. And while some of these are perfectly reasonable I'm pretty shocked at what is not acceptable:

Yeah, and no one sells signed copies of books on ebay either. That never happens.

i have a web site. www.mydesignerbrands.com. After reading carefully eBay rules, in April 2005 i made up an eBay account to get rid of old merchandise. My uswer ID "is" mydesignerbrands*com. Last Sunday, I was emailed by eBay. They said that my eBay ID did not adhere with their rules and if I didn't change it within 24 hours, they would. Well, I read this last Monday morning after my ID was change --after I thought my account was hijacked and I was in terrible trouble. eBay cannot chnage your ID WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION! THE ID WAS NOT AGAINST THE RULES. SUE EBAY. I AM GLAD THAT I HAVE MY OWN WEBSITE.
