Comics Are Back - Here's How To Get Them!
This coming Wednesday, May 20, new comics start regularly coming out again.
If you do not have a comics subscription box with us, will need to order comics from our website. You can choose to pick them up via curbside pickup, use free local (3-mile) delivery or select our regular mail-order.
HOW TO GET YOUR OWN COMICS SUBSCRIPTION BOX AT ATOMIC
If you want to set up a comics subscription box with us, email benn [at] atomicbooks [dot] com with a list of titles you would like to get every month. You must get a minimum of 3 monthly ongoing comics. You get a 15% discount off of every title you subscribe to, but you must buy every title you subscribe to and you have to pick them up at least once a month.
If you are already one of our comics subscribers...
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION
Ideally, this will be seamless for your comics subscription - it'll be like someone hit a pause button for 2 months and is now hitting unpause. (With the exception of DC Comics, who kind of created a mess with the way they handled the situation, cancelling all orders, moving to new distributors, etc - but we have endeavored to make sure there are no gaps with their titles either and in some instances we may be getting them sooner).
HOW WE'LL FUNCTION MOVING FORWARD
Since Atomic Books is not currently open to the public, each week, if you have new comics that week, we will send you an email invoice where you can pay for your comics. (We are trying to minimize instore transactions for everyone's safety.)
BUYING OTHER NEW COMICS
Because we are unsure of when we'll be open to the public again, we have substantially cut back the number of titles and quantities we put on our shelves. However, we are trying to put everything coming in on our website. This is time consuming, but we are constantly adding new titles.
So if there are new comics you are looking to try out, you can order those from our website here.
If there are new titles coming you want to be sure to get that you don't subscribe to, you can also pre-order titles here.
Once a comic book sells out, we will not be ordering restocks (note - this does not apply to trade paperbacks and graphic novels).
HOW TO GET YOUR BOOKS
1. Curbside pickup: Once your invoice is paid, you can pick up your books Monday-Saturday from 11-5.
Just knock on the door. Give us your last name (sorry, masks are making it difficult for us to recognize everyone). Then take a step back, and we will have put your books out on the red table we have set up.
2. Free local delivery: We're delivering Monday-Saturday if you are within a 3 mile radius of the store.
3. Flat rate shipping: This is $7, and we'll ship your books anywhere inside the US.
